Many products are handmade one-offs and not available anywhere else except at the creator's local market. All purchases come with a free reusable cloth bag.

Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and nestled on the shores of stunning Lake Wakatipu, Southern Rata is based in one of the most inspirational places in the world - Queenstown, New Zealand.

Always New Zealand made – all products are made in New Zealand and shall continually be sourced from goods made from recycled materials and natural fibres

Always high quality – each product  is quality tested in-house and Southern Rata is passionate about sourcing the best and the most original, so regularly getting out there and finding new stuff will always remain a priority
